The Sleeper Collective have just released their new film THE PILOT, the gripping story of two-times UCI Mountain Bike World Cup Champion Amaury Pierron.
When you love a good Mountain Bike story. Or two.
I have to admit: I am biased. I love a good Mountain Bike story. I am an Earthed-Series child, impatiently waiting for the release of the next DVD to actually see what was happening at the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup races. In those days the only access (when you couldn't afford to go) was to read the race recap in DIRT Mag. Then Freecaster came along, the first proper live coverage of World Cup racing, The Atheron Project took us behind the scenes of what it was like being an athlete - if you didn't find me in the woods on my bike you would for sure find me watching something something bike by Clay Porter, Anthill Productions and all the other cool kids out there.
So when The Sleeper Collective released The Flying Scotsman - the story of Reece Wilson's* amazing 2021 season - I absolutely loved the visuals and story telling they realised with this edit...
* big fan of Reece ;-)
The insane journey to No. 1
The latest release by The Sleeper Collective is again a full length, free to view production in collaboration with Commençal Bikes and of course Amaury Pierron. Another masterpiece delivering goosebump central as you accompany Amaury through the highs and lows of being a professional athlete: The injuries, rehabilitation, returning to racing after almost two years of not being between the tape...
It's a story about resilience - and if you are a bit bonkers about biking like me you cannot miss going on this journey with Amaury.
Come then: Take the French line!
